Masana in partnership with Gold One donated school uniforms
Masana Petroleum Solutions (Masana), in collaboration with Gold One, have reaffirmed their commitment to community development by donating school shoes and uniforms to eight schools in Ekurhuleni. This joint effort, aims to provide practical support to learners from under-resourced communities, promoting dignity, confidence, and access to quality education. ‘The impact of poverty on education outcomes for children is extremely devastating, with overcrowded classrooms and lack of nutrition, to name a few. By tackling some of these needs, it gives children the opportunity to focus on their studies and empower themselves to improve the chances of breaking out of the cycle of poverty in their communities’, says Morena Sithole, Managing Director of Masana. On June 4, 2025, Masana and Gold One donated 50 full sets of school shoes and uniforms to Chief Albert Luthuli Primary, Lesiba Secondary, Dinoto Technical Secondary, and Hulwazi Secondary School. Thopodi Primary School, Rolihlahla Primary School, Kgalema Primary School and Siphumele Primary School also received donations. ‘We believe that no child should be held back from learning due to lack of basic necessities, our partnership with Masana Petroleum Solutions allows us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and their families’, says a representative of Gold One. The donations form part of the ongoing social investment programmes by Masana and Gold One, which focuses on education, youth empowerment, and community upliftment.
