Guidelines/Points for consideration – Leak/Spill from Bulk Tanks and Pump 1. In case of an incident, contact your Masana Accounts Manager or the Masana Call Centre as a matter of urgency 2. Where necessary, contact Masana Assets, HSSE or Logistics depending on the nature of the incident. 3. Keep a log for everything that you do from the first notification. 4. Depending on the situation a spill of less than 150 liters would not warrant calling out the fire department. Your judgement of the situation should be influenced by the possible consequences or likelihood of the spill igniting. 5. In some situations, containment is more important than preventing ignition. 6. Should watercourses be contaminated or there is a risk of contamination thereof, contact the local municipality or Department of Water Affairs. 7. Ensure that your Masana Account Manager is regularly updated on the situation. 8. If the situation is serious a site control center may be established by Masana 9. Do not talk to the press.
