Our Products - Specialities Heavy Furnace Oil (HFO): A result from the distillation and cracking process of petroleum, Heavy Furnace Oil is a category of fuel oils. HFO has a tar-like consistency and is used for high heat generation by burning the product in furnaces and boilers. All Masana’s HFO products are supplied by our strategic partner bpSA; which ensures we meet exacting global compliance protocols in terms of product quality and stringent health, safety, environmental and security standards. Chemicals: A key part of Masana’s specialty product range is the chemicals we are able to supply to various sectors: • Mining solvents: used in the copper extraction process. • Low Aromatic White Spirits (LAWS): used in the paint and construction sectors. • Medium Aromatics (MA100): used in the paint and construction sectors. Bitumen: Masana supplies bitumen in a variety of grades.
